Dr. Steve graduated from Oklahoma State University in May of 1980. He opened Catoosa Small Animal Hospital soon after graduation in July. Steve enjoys challenging cases and difficult surgeries. He especially enjoys knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and other orthopedic surgeries.
Dr. Weir and his wife Pam, have been married since 1980 and they have three sons, Jared, Huston, and Caleb. His family is very active in The Bible Church of Owasso.
Hobbies:
Woodworking, antiques, hunting, fishing and yard work.

Dr. Bob graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1982. Dr. Shoup became a partner in Catoosa Small Animal Hospital soon after graduation. He enjoys surgery and particularly knee surgeries. He also enjoys helping clients that are concerned about their pets, particularly when children are involved. Dr. Shoup and his wife, Terri, have two children, Stephanie and Rob.
While he has been a constant fixture, Dr. Bob has begun scaling back to 2 - 3 days a week. He still enjoys seeing the wonderful CSAH clientele and their pets.
Dr. Shoup enjoys being outside. His hobbies include golf, yard work, going to the lake and quail hunting. His wife Terri, has two golden retreivers that she uses as therapy/service animals in hospitals, nursing homes, and court dog work supporting children that have to testify.

Email: Dr. Laura
Dr. Laura graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2003 fulfilling her lifelong dream to be a veterinarian. Laura was very active in school and received the coveted "Gentle Doctor Award" given to the student who most exhibits the caring compassionate attitude desired in veterinary medicine. Laura then spent three years serving as a Veterinarian in the U.S. Army at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico. During her term there she was responsible for taking care of the military dogs used by our brave young men and women in uniform. She received the "Unsung Hero Award" given by the Kirkland Air Force Base Commander.
We feel very fortunate to have her in our practice at Catoosa Small Animal Hospital. Her main interests are internal medicine and ultrasonography. Her superior knowledge and caring attitude fit in perfectly with our practice. Dr. Embry is married to her husband John and they have a wonderful teenage son named Bill.
Hobbies:
Dr. Embry enjoys spending time with her family outdoors on a beach under a palm tree whenever possible.

Email: Dr. Sarah
Dr. Sarah is a native Tulsan and graduated from Broken Arrow in 2000. She then attended Oklahoma State University where she achieved her B.S. in animal science and later her D.V.M. Dr. Smith joined the practice in 2007 shortly after graduation, and enjoys both general medicine and surgery. She has special interest in reproductive medicine and ultrasonography.
She has been married to her husband, Aaron, since 2004, and they have three children. They also have a slew of dogs and other animals which they consider part of their family.
While Dr. Smith does not practice large animal medicine, she does enjoy helping out the local FFA students with the occasional project and attending herding events. She also enjoys helping educate the public about veterinary medicine and has volunteered at the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association spay/neuter exhibit every year since graduation. Above all else Dr. Smith considers her faith to be the most important and in involved with The Church at Battle Creek.

Dr. Caleb graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2016. He is married to one of our technicians, Holly. Together they have a bouncing baby boy named Wyatt. Not too much more is known about Dr. Caleb. However, it is speculated that he lives in a hobbit hole in the Shire with his family and their plethora of family pets.
Hobbies:
Rearing chickens and his own parsley farm.

Email: Dr. Leland
Originally from Los Angeles, Dr. Leland moved to Oklahoma to be closer to family. Prior to attending and graduating from attend Oklahoma State University, Dr. Leland worked for Chevrolet in Long Beach, CA. During this time he also attended classes to prepare for veterinary school. He finished his undergrad classes at RSU in Claremore.
At home, Dr. Leland has a fat black kitty named, Loki and a tripod Boerboel mastiff named Eileen. In his spare time, he is a jack-of-all-trades that likes woodworking, painting, auto repair and brushing up on WWII history.

Soft tissue surgery and feline medicine.

Shelbi was born and raised in Tahlequah, OK. She fulfilled her undergraduate studies in Tahlequah at Northeastern State University where she was a 4-year member of the NSU softball team. Shelbi met her husband, Kyle, at NSU and they were married in 2015. She attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State University where she graduated in May 2019. Shelbi and Kyle have 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 leopard geckos at home. They are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in April 2020.
Hobbies:
Shelbi’s hobbies include hiking, fishing, and shed hunting in the outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with family.

Dr. Radley was born in Tulsa and grew up in Claremore, OK. He was on of five children. His family actually lives just down the street from our own Dr. Laura! Growning up, Dr. Radley attended Sequoyah High School and was very active in the FFA. Dr. Radley attended Oklahoma State University for his undergrad and Veterinary education, graduating in 2017.
In his free time, Dr. Radley enjoys spending time with his family in the Rocky Mountains, golf, hunting, fishing and watching football. Go Pokes!
